Firebirds fall 5-2 to Eagles, have points streak snapped

The Coachella Valley Firebirds lost to the Colorado Eagles 5-2 at Acrisure Arena.

Trailing throughout the game, both goals for the Firebirds were power play goal. Devin Shore scored in the first and Max McCormick scored in the third, who is the team's goal leader.

Despite allowing five goals on the night, Chris Driedger saved 36 shots.

The Firebirds continue their homestand and play the Henderson Silver Knights on Sunday, Februrary 18th. Puck drop is set at 5:00 p.m. local time.
