Firebirds dominate Silver Knights 6-1 in front of sold-out crowd on Kids Night

The Coachella Valley Firebirds defeated the Henderson Silver Knights 6-1 in a dominating fashion.

With the sold-out crowd on Kids Day, the Firebirds showed out for the crowd.

Cameron Hughes got the scoring started in the first period. Max McCormick, Jimmy Schuldt, and Marian Studenic all joined the scoring spree as both McCormick and Schuldt had two goals each.

Ales Stezka made the start for Coachella Valley with 19 saves.

The Firebirds improve to 29-13-4-2 and extend its first place lead in the Pacific Division with 64 points.

After seven games at home, CV is back on the road to face the Barracuda on Wednesday, February 21st.
