Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic celebrating 20 years as premier college softball tournament
The Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic is back.
One of the top college softball tournaments in the country, the MNCC began Thursday at Big League Dreams Park in Cathedral City.
This year marks the 20th playing of the prestigious and competitive tournament.

With 30 teams, the MNCC consists of seven ranked teams this year - Baylor, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee and UCLA.
