Tools for Tomorrow teaches children the power of art
Tools for Tomorrow is hosting its annual gala tonight.
The after-school nonprofit program teaches children the power of creativity through the arts.
Children learn lessons in theater, writing, art and history.
The program offers classes to children ages eight through eleven.
Tools for Tomorrow hopes to teach children more than just lessons in the arts but also lessons in social skills and cognitive thinking.
"They're learning lifelong skills," said Andrea Hecht, Executive Director of Tools for Tomorrow. "They're going to learn public speaking, collaboration, cognitive thinking skills. So please help us give our children the arts experience."
