Early morning scattered showers and wet conditions around the valley

Wet conditions and scattered showers are expected around the valley early Monday morning.

As morning commuters head out, be aware of potentially wet and slicker than normal road conditions. Drivers are urged to use caution.

Storm clouds were seen moving in on Sunday. Heavier rain could be experienced in the western parts of the valley or even farther west in the Beaumont/Banning areas. Local mountains are experiencing snowy conditions.

This week marks the one year anniversary of the valley’s record-breaking storm. As always during this season, residents are urged to make sure vehicles are prepared for wet weather: check windshield wipers, tires and monitor road conditions prior to heading towards a mountain destination.
