Death toll in Italy fuel depot blast rises to 5

ROME (AP) — Italian media reported that rescuers have found the body of the last missing person at the site of the explosion that hit a fuel depot a day earlier in the central Tuscany region. It brought the death toll to five on Tuesday. The blast on Monday caused the collapse of an office building and injured 14 people. Two were in critical condition. The explosion happened at an ENI fuel depot north of Florence. It sent a dark plume of smoke into the air. Italy’s ENI oil company said Monday that the cause of the blast was under investigation. Prosecutors in the nearby city of Prato opened an investigation into the deadly blast.
