NEW YORK (AP) — A former top aide to New York City Mayor Eric Adams and her son have been charged in a bribery conspiracy. Ingrid Lewis-Martin surrendered on Thursday. The indictment brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charges Lewis-Martin, her son Glenn Martin and real estate investors Raizada Vaid and Mayank Dwivedi in a conspiracy involving bribes of more than $100,000. Prosecutors say Lewis-Martin abused her position as the mayor’s chief advisor and sold her influence to enrich herself and her family. Lewis-Martin has said she’s been “falsely accused.”
