High school football playoff matchups released
COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif. (KESQ) -- The playoffs are here for high school football.
Eight local teams made the postseason and will look to earn a CIF-SS championship in their respective division. Here is a look at the first round schedule.
Friday, Nov. 7
- Division 7: Claremont at Palm Springs
- Division 8: Marina at Palm Desert
- Division 8: La Quinta at Fullerton
- Division 11: Jurupa Hills at Shadow Hills
- Division 12: Costa Mesa at Yucca Valley
- Division 12: Coachella Valley at Banning
- Division 12: Arroyo Valley at Desert Christian Academy
- Division 13: Desert Hot Springs at Woodbridge
The CIF-SS playoffs are single-elimination. The winner advances to the next round, while the loser has their season come to an end.
