Indian Canyon closed due to flooding, all other wash roads remain open

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) –  A New Year's Eve storm has brought rain showers to the Valley and with the rain comes Palm Springs road closures.

Palm Springs Police shut down Indian Canyon just before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. The closure is due to flooding in the area between Sunrise Parkway and Garnet Avenue.

All other roadways in Palm Springs remain open at this time.

Check back for updates as rain is expected to continue on New Year's Day.
