Warm weather continues to start February

THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) – Happy Sunday... and Happy February! As we kick off the second month of the year, the weather remains unseasonably warm, with highs about 10-15° above normal for the next few days.

We hit 82° in Palm Springs yesterday. Expect similar conditions today as our weather pattern stays quite consistent.

We felt the 80s as we ended January, and we anticipate more of the same. Our temperature outlook maps continue to show above average weather through the week.

Highs look to stay in the low 80s to start the week. High pressure restrengthens towards the middle of the week as offshore flow increases, as well. That pattern should bring warmer, drier air and some breezy conditions Tuesday through Thursday. Subtle cooling is possible by next weekend, with temperatures likely to return to the low 80s, if not upper 70s. It's T-shirt and shorts weather this week!
