Gradual cooling today into the weekend

High pressure weakens, and an area of low pressure moves closer to Northern Baja bringing in partly cloudy skies and cooler temps.

A Wind Advisory is in effect until Noon today for areas West of the Coachella Valley. Portions of that Wind Advisory have already expired.

Winds here in the Valley will likely remain in the low teens and single digits.

While we will not be as warm as yesterday (86), we will remain in the lower 80s, about ten degrees above normal.

Highs will dip briefly into the 70s tomorrow, then rebound into the lower 80s for the weekend. By midweek next week, highs drop to near normal as a weak storm moves through. The storm also provides a very small chance of scattered showers.
