CIF-SS Playoffs: First round boys basketball highlights and scores
COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif. (KESQ) -- It's a busy time of year for the winter sports season with the CIF-SS playoffs underway.
Boys basketball was featured on Wednesday with many local teams in the first round.
DEL champion Palm Springs defeated Pioneer 67-46 in their Division 4 opener. The Indians will be in Los Angeles on Friday in the 2nd round against Shalhevet.
In Division 8, DCA defeated Desert Hot Springs 63-57. The Conquerors trailed by double digits during the game but scored 30 points in the 4th quarter to advance to the 2nd round in Division 8.
