Kids Connection – Education

  • K-12 & Specialized Programs:
    • CVUSD (Coachella Valley Unified School District): Offers specialized academic instruction, including special education services such as behavioral, speech, and occupational therapy.
    • Migrant Education Program: Focuses on supporting migrant students and families with dedicated tutors.
    • Early Education: Head Start and Preschool sites are available for young children.
    • Independent Study/Alternative Ed: CVUSD provides various instructional formats, including, online, and independent study.
  • Support & Specialized Resources:
    • RCOE (Riverside County Office of Education): Provides AI curriculum for students, a scholarship fund, and specialized services, including for foster youth.
    • Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P): Provides free, high-quality after-school programs for qualifying TK-6th grade students.
    • Desert Recreation District: Operates after-school "Kids Clubs".
    • Community Support: The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts events connecting residents to educational resources.
  • Environmental Education: The Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD) offers classroom presentations and materials for K-12.
