One dead in North Palm Springs crash Sunday

UNINCORPORATED PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) - One person was killed in a crash in unincorporated North Palm Springs Sunday morning.

Shortly after 7 a.m., a sedan crashed into a motorcycle at North Indian Canyon Drive and Thumb Drive, according to California Highway Patrol.

Investigators say a gray Kia Niro was traveling west on Teagarden Drive and making a left turn onto Indian Canyon Drive, when the motorcycle crashed into the Kia.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and identified as a 36 year old man from Desert Hot Springs.

Authorities say drugs or alcohol are not factors in the crash.
