Extreme heat continues with near-record highs

Temps rose to 115 yesterday and we'll repeat that today.

The Extreme Heat Warning continues through Friday evening at 8 p.m.

We are also under an Air Quality Alert due to pollutants like ozone trapped at the surface underneath a large ridge of high pressure.

Temps next week will finally drop to near or below seasonal norms.
