More comfortable weather continues into Labor Day Weekend

Highs will be quite comfortable, running well below seasonal averages into next week. Today we're expect temps to linger very close to the 100 degree mark.

The other major change in our forecast this week is the lack of monsoonal moisture, so dew points remain lower than they have been in some time.

We could see some changes heading into the weekend as Hurricane Marie moves closer to SoCal. That will impart some instability and tropical moisture for the region. We could see some isolated thunderstorms, especially in the mountains, and dew points will rise modestly.

The impact from the storm will be minimal, as it moves farther West. Temps will remain below average all weekend and well into next week, too.
