Wind Advisory issued October 3 at 4:01AM PDT until October 3 at 6:00PM PDT by NWS San Diego CA

* WHAT…For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions
with high temperatures in the upper 90s to 103 and warm nights with
low temperatures in the lower to mid 70s expected. For the Wind
Advisory, east winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE…San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys-The Inland
Empire.

* WHEN…For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM PDT Thursday. For
the Wind Advisory, until 6 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Heat
related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat
events.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
