Mud left behind as Coachella Valley residents begin cleanup

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) — Tropical Storm Rachel continues to move north after making its way through the Coachella Valley.

Many streets and neighborhoods were flooded, and runoff from the mountains formed streams in many places. However, after the water receded, those streams left behind piles of mud.

News Channel 3 is speaking with locals to hear how they are dealing with the cleanup.
