Showers linger followed by gradual clearing

A few spotty showers remain around the region today, so you may need to use those windshield wipers, but only briefly. The chance of showers hovers near 20% for the rest of this afternoon.

Highs will be subdued all week, in the 70s and 80s, thanks to a large area of low pressure, and a major shift in the Jetstream.

Today, expect mid-70s for a comfortable daytime high.

For the remainder of the week, skies will clear out and temps will be well below average. We do warm up through the week, but highs top out in the 80s, the average this week is 93.
