Breezy and Cooler Today, BIG Warm-Up Next Week!

Expect partly cloudy skies today as weak low pressure system moves through, bringing some gusty winds, and dropping daytime highs by about ten degrees from yesterday's temps.

Wind speeds may reach 25mph on the Valley floor, with 40mph gusts possible North of the freeway as we move through the afternoon and evening. Even Saturday remains breezy in areas.

No wind advisories have been posted, and this breezy period doesn't approach the wind speeds seen last Sunday and Monday. The low moves into the Four Corner states late Saturday, we'll start to warm up on Sunday.

Highs today will reach 78, very comfortable, but cooler than yesterday by 10 degrees.

Looking ahead, we expect highs to climb well into the nineties by midweek next week, so get ready for some much warmer weather to round out next week.
