Palm Springs recorded a high temperature of 83° -- one degree warmer than yesterday.

Here's a look at some of the strongest gusts as of 10:00 p.m.:

The wind continues Tuesday with gusts averaging 30-40 MPH across the low desert.

The wind will relax on Wednesday as temperatures climb into the mid 90s.

This will be the first heat event of the season. Triple digit temperatures will remain the rest of the week and through the weekend.
