2 Men detained following armed robbery
Two men were detained early Friday morning, following a strong armed robbery in Palm Desert.
Deputies were called around 4:30 a.m. to a disturbance in the area of Fred Waring Dr. and San Pablo Ave.
Authorities say they first heard reports that 3 people were involved in the incident, but now they say 1 person committed the crime.
The stolen items were recovered and no injuries were reported.
