An Excessive Heat Warning for the Coachella Valley is in effect, now through 9:00 p.m. Sunday. High temperatures around the low desert are expected to climb near 115° each afternoon.
Next week, we'll be watch the remnants of Tropical Storm Nora, which is likely to become a hurricane over the weekend. Those remnants may mean higher monsoonal moisture than is already forecast, and may enhance the chance for rain and thunderstorms around the Region.
Temperatures cool off dramatically as the moisture increases, so big changes on the horizon!
