Fleet Week

Fleet Week, where the military and the community come together for a few fun, high-energy days. With ships sailing into town, many of them open up for free public tours, so you can actually step onboard and see what life is like for sailors. There’s a lot to see and do—air shows overhead (often featuring the Blue Angels), live music, food, and family-friendly activities along the waterfront. It’s not just about the excitement, though. Fleet Week is also a chance to meet service members, hear their stories, and say thank you in a more personal way. Fleet Week serves as a bridge between civilians and the military, giving people a firsthand look at maritime operations while honoring those who serve. Patriotic, welcoming, and a lot of fun for all ages.

San Diego Fleet Week 2026 | Honoring Our Military on the Waterfront

San Diego Fleet Week 2026 is a vibrant, city-wide celebration that brings the community together to honor, thank, and connect with the men and women of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.

Taking place across San Diego Bay, this free, family-friendly event features public ship tours, hands-on STEM experiences, military demonstrations, and interactive exhibits that showcase the capabilities and daily life of America’s sea services. Visitors can also enjoy community festivals, live entertainment, and special events throughout the waterfront.
