Tied the Record (Again)

Palm Springs tied the previous daytime high record this afternoon for a second day in a row, hitting 117 degrees this afternoon. That ties the record of 117, most recently hit in 2019 and 2015. The first year we reached 117 on this date was in 1927. And 117 is likely not the high for the day. Chief Meteorologist Haley Clawson will have an update.
