RSO seeks 2 suspects wanted for early morning gunpoint carjacking north of DHS

Riverside County Sheriff's deputies are seeking two carjacking suspects wanted in connection with an early morning robbery north of Desert Hot Springs.

According to RSO public information officer Robyn Flores, the incident was reported near the intersection of Indian Canyon Drive and Worsley Road, just south of Highway 62 at 3:28 a.m.

The two victims were sleeping in the vehicle, a green Dodge Journey, when two suspects came upon the vehicle and threatened the occupants at gunpoint. By 3:30 a.m., the suspects too the vehicle and drove off southbound in the direction of Desert Hot Springs.

No suspect descriptions were provided by RSO.

"There is no additional information to release," Deputy Flores told News Channel 3 at around 9:15 a.m. "The suspects are still outstanding."
