Truck stolen from Cathedral City, crashed at abandoned concrete mill near DHS

Riverside County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an incident involving a stolen truck that was abandoned in a ditch at a derelict concrete mill near Desert Hot Springs on Monday morning.

The incident was reported around 9:34 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The concrete mill is located on Annandale Avenue north of Blue Sky Circle.

The Cathedral City Police Department will be taking over the investigation, according to RSO. It is unclear when the vehicle was stolen. No suspects were in custody at the time of this publication.
