Outage reported in Palm Desert

Parts of Palm Desert were without power this Thanksgiving Day afternoon.
More than 7,000 people were without power near Portola Avenue, just south of Highway 111, according to Southern California Edison's outage map.
Traffic lights were out at the intersection of Highway 111 and Deep Canyon Drive.
No details were provided for the outage other than most customers could see power restored by 2 p.m., according to the utility's website.
