Census job recruitment fair to be held Saturday

The 2020 census is just around the corner -- on Saturday, Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia's office will be holding a census job recruitment fair.

The fair will take place 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Coachella Library (1500 6th St, Coachella, CA 92236.)

The U.S. Census Bureau is looking to fill hundreds of thousands of positions across the country to help out with the 2020 census count. Those looking for a job can learn more about the employment opportunities as well as fill out job applications right on the spot with representatives from the bureau itself.

“We cannot emphasize enough the importance of a complete, accurate census count in ensuring that our region receives equitable representation and our fair share of resources,” said Assemblymember Garcia.
