Families celebrate Desert Hot Springs Parade of Lights & Holiday Festival
The City of Desert Hot Springs hosted their annual parade of lights and holiday festival on Saturday, December 14.
The parade took place on Palm Drive. It began at Mission Lakes Boulevard and ended at 2nd Street.
According to the city, almost 40 entries in the parade, which is more than previous years. The parade featured lighted floats, marching bands, drum squads, drill teams, schools, local businesses and sports teams.
The holiday festival immediately followed after the parade at Palm Drive and Pierson Blvd.
The festival featured free carnival rides, live entertainment and food vendors.
