Detectives seek public’s help finding High Desert IHOP robber

San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's detectives are seeking the public's help to find a man wanted for the armed robbery of an IHOP in Yucca Valley on Thursday.

According to SBCSD, at 10:03 p.m on December 26, deputies responded to the IHOP located on the 57000 block of Twentynine Palms Highway for a report of an armed robbery. A man entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded money. He then fled the scene with a large amount of cash from the business.

Suspect description:

  • Black male
  • 6'2", thin build
  • Wearing white shoes, blue jeans, a black windbreaker, and wig

"Anyone with information r! elated to the investigation, is asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Morongo Basin Station at (760)366-4175," read the SBCSD news release. "Anyone wishing to remain anonymous may contact We-Tip at 1-888-78-CRIME."

SBCSD did not report any injuries during the robbery.
