New bilingual website offers coronavirus resources from Desert Healthcare District

The Desert Healthcare District & Foundation recently unveiled a new bilingual website. It’s designed to be a ‘one-stop shop’ for the community’s coronavirus questions and concerns.

The site shows the best ways to protect yourself from the virus and features a video message from Dr. Conrado Barzarga, the District’s CEO.

“We want to sure our residents have access to accurate information about covid-19,” said Barzaga. “We will be doing a series of informational videos every week.”

People can also easily access the latest coronavirus numbers on a daily basis. There’s also a feature where you can look up resources for residents, employees and/or businesses.

“We want to make it easier for our families to have access to a number of resources, access to food, and access to healthcare,” said Barzaga.

You can also see the latest executive orders in place and even take a seven question quiz if you’re concerned you might have been exposed to the virus.

To take advantage of the new resources, go to www.dhcd.org

By clicking in the top right corner, users can switch the page from English to Spanish.

The site has information on prevention, testing and financial assistance.
