7-vehicle traffic collision leaves multiple people injured

Firefighters are on scene of a seven vehicle collision in Beaumont.

The crash happened around 9:32 a.m. in the area of Beaumont and California Avenue.

Highway 79 is shut down due to the crash.

Officials say you should plan a different route if needing to go through the canyon.

Paramedics are on scene treating multiple patients.
