Firebirds continue training camp, preparing for preseason games later this week
Firebirds hockey is heating up with the start of the 2023-2024 season right around the corner.
Coachella Valley is currently in training camp, which started Sunday, Oct. 1.
New faces for @Firebirds looking to find their footing and fit in for a franchise that reached the Finals in their first season. Birds have a pair of preseason games later this week prior to the opener Friday 10/13. @KESQ

Camp will continue throughout the week in preparation for the new season.
Prior to the opener, CV will compete in a pair of preseason games, both at Acrisure Arena.
- Friday, Oct. 6 vs Ontario Reign 6pm - PRESEASON
- Sunday, Oct. 8 vs Henderson Silver Knights 3pm - PRESEASON
Following the preseason, the Firebirds will drop the puck on their second season as an AHL franchise.
- Friday, Oct. 13 vs Bakersfield Condors - REGULAR SEASON OPENER
For fans who can't attend the home opener in person, we will be broadcasting the game LIVE on the CW Palm Springs, starting at 6:30pm with the pre-game show.
