Martha’s Village & Kitchen 17th Annual Thanksgiving Day 5K
Martha's Village & Kitchen Thanksgiving Day 5k is an annual, family-friendly run/walk fundraiser on El Paseo in Palm Desert. The goal is to raise awareness about the organization's services, and to provide funds to support its mission to end hunger and homelessness in the Coachella Valley.
About 5,000 people are expected to attend this year's event. KESQ is a proud sponsor, and anchor Peter Daut will be back again to serve as host.
"A lot of this money goes straight back into the community. It's the holiday season, and we just want to make sure everyone in our community is taken care of best as we can," Martha's Village & Kitchen Board Member Blaine Amidei said.
