Riverside County’s Mobile Crisis Response services now available 24/7

Coachella Valley residents can now access Riverside University Health System’s Mobile Crisis Response services all week long, 24 hours a day.

The county’s Mobile Crisis Response Team is composed of therapists, case managers, substance abuse counselors and peer support specialists who are trained to help individuals during mental health emergencies.

The county partnered with Sycamores, a behavioral health outreach organization, to add 5 new vans where mobile response teams will be available for overnight services.

Local school districts have used the Mobile Crisis Response Team’s services in the past.

News Channel 3’s Tatum Larsen is in the process of speaking with PSUSD’s Mental Health Coordinator for more on how these extended hours could impact local students and on campus mental healthcare providers.

You can access Mobile Crisis Response services by calling 951-686-HELP.
