Fire breaks out at home in Coachella

UPDATE 7/25/2025 9:40 P.M. - CAL FIRE reports that the fire destroyed an unoccupied single family home. One person was treated at the scene for a minor injury.

Crews expect to stay at the scene for another hour for overhaul/cleanup.

COACHELLA, Calif. (KESQ) - CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire reports that they received a fire call to a home on the 52400 Block of Morgan Avenue in Coachella just before 8:30 p.m. on Friday.

When firefighters arrived, they found the home fully involved with fire.

Additional engines were requested to assist crews.
