Search continues for missing woman last seen in Idyllwild

IDYLLWILD (KESQ) - Authorities sought the public's assistance today in locating a 34-year-old Pennsylvania woman last seen in Idyllwild.

Jennifer Sue Stoltzfus was last spotted February 28th in the 43000 block of Florida Ave in Hemet. Now, her family and missing persons advocate group , The RAD Movement, are working to keep her case in the spotlight.

Sharie Finn with RAD says Stoltzfus was reported missing March 5th, by a man her family believes to be her boyfriend, Damon Fullerton of Idyllwild.

"He claims to be her boyfriend. We do believe she is experiencing a mental health crisis. That is our primary concern," Finn said.

Finn says Stoltzfus hasn't been in contact with her family, including husband and two children, for some time since coming out to California.

They believe the 34-year-old first went missing in late February after she fled Fullerton's home on a bike, before being spotted again in Hemet.

"Damon has reported that they had a disagreement on the 27th. She was then spotted on a surveillance camera in a store on Florida Avenue in Hemet on the 28th between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. From there we now have a confirmed sighting of her in LA, near the Baldwin Park area on March 4th," Finn said.

Riverside Sheriff's Investigators did not confirm those claims and said no updates were available.

Looking for answers, News Channel 3 went to local shops in Idyllwild.

At Red Kettle, one woman said she frequently served Stoltzfus and Fullerton over the past few months.

" I was shocked because she was coming to the restaurant here, I'd say about 5 or 6 times since June. So I think the last time I saw her was in December. They actually were parked right over here, and their car broke down. They were stuck there for, like, two hours. She seemed lovely, just very friendly," Meghan Carey said.

Finn said she doesn't believe Stoltzfus is still with Fullerton, and is urging anyone who sees her to contact 911 or their hotline.

"If anybody does encounter her, we ask that they not approach her and that they call 911 immediately. If they experience any delay, we ask that they reach out to us immediately (619) 904-0840. That's a 24/7 tip line."

News Channel 3 also reached out to Stoltzfus's family, who declined to comment.

Stoltzfus is described as a 5-foot-10-inch-tall woman weighing 120 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen riding a light blue bicycle with a brown seat and a basket on the handlebars.

She was last seen wearing a light-colored pair of pants along with a shirt.

Anyone with information about Stoltfus' whereabouts was urged to call sheriff's dispatch at 800-950-2444.
