Final push to get out the vote underway ahead of November election

KESQ

COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif. (KESQ) – With Election Day less than three weeks away, political organizations across California are stepping up efforts to reach voters ahead of the November 3 general election.

More than 300 "No Kings: Vote Early" events are being promoted across California for Saturday, October 17, as organizers look to engage voters before Election Day.

The events come as Democrats and Republicans continue their efforts to connect with voters, encourage participation and provide information about the upcoming election.

The deadline to register to vote in California is Monday, October 19, although eligible residents who miss that deadline can still register conditionally and vote through Election Day.

News Channel 3 is reaching out to political organizations and election officials to learn more about outreach efforts across the Coachella Valley, what's planned for the weekend and what voters need to know as Election Day approaches.
