JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — In a story published October 23, 2021, about Mississippi preparing for the execution of David Neal Cox, The Associated Press erroneously reported that Cox’s wife was killed in Shannon, Mississippi. She was killed in Sherman, Mississippi.
