SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — In a story published November 3, 2021, about supply chain problems for California farmers, The Associated Press erroneously reported that California is the nation’s only supplier of tree nuts. The state Department of Food and Agriculture says California produces nearly all of the commercially sold walnuts, pistachios and almonds. But other states supply different types of tree nuts.
