Police serve search warrant in Desert Hot Springs neighborhood

Desert Hot Springs Police were serving a search warrant Thursday morning along the 66100 block of Desert View Avenue near West Drive.

A city spokeswoman, Doria Wilms, told KESQ News Channel 3 that Riverside County Sheriffs Deputies were assisting in the effort.

Viewers contacted KESQ News Channel 3 at 5:45 a.m. saying a helicopter was circling over their neighborhood.

Wilms recommended people avoid the area until the police activity was completed.
