CHP hosting annual “CHiPs for Kids” toy drive at Mathis Brothers in Indio

Chips for Kids

Christmas is right around the corner and to help local families in need, the California Highway Patrol is hosting their annual “CHiPs for Kids” toy drive.

The department is asking for the community's help to collect unwrapped, donated toys to be distributed for Christmas. On Friday, December 5, KESQ and CHP representatives will be outside Mathis Brothers furniture hoping to "cover the cruiser" with donations.

Thousands of toys donated will benefit families and children in need right here in the Coachella Valley. If you can't make it to Mathis Brothers on Friday, you can also drop of donated toys at the store until December 20th. Collection bins will also be placed Walgreens stores throughout the valley and at the CHP office in Indio.
