Indio Police Department seeks help in locating at-risk woman
INDIO, Calif. (KESQ) – Investigators with Indio Police were actively searching for an at-risk missing woman Friday night.
They said 86-year-old Mayra Porras De Santiago was last seen before 4:00 p.m. on Friday at her home in Indio.
Her home was located within the gated community of Sun City Shadow Hills.
Investigators said she was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, black capri pants, and blue Hoka running shoes.
She was described as a Hispanic female adult, approximately 4 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 116 pounds.
Officials believed she was traveling on foot.
Officers performed an extensive search in the surrounding area but were unable to find her.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office was assisting with the search
