The Tucson Roadrunners score three goals in the first period and never look back in beating the Firebirds, 3-1, on Friday night.

Connor Carrick the lone player to score for Coachella Valley.

The Firebirds out shot the Roadrunners, 37-27.

Up next, The Firebirds remain on the road to face the top seed Calgary Wranglers on New Years Day.
