Firebirds stay hot with 6th straight win, led by Rehkopf’s first professional hat trick

COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif. (KESQ) -- The Firebirds are on fire.
Coachella Valley defeated San Jose 4-3 on Wednesday night at Acrisure Arena for their sixth straight win.

The Firebirds were led by 21-year-old forward Carson Rehkopf who recorded his first professional hat trick.
Rehkopf was drafted by the Seattle Kraken 50th overall in 2023 NHL Draft. He scored a goal in each period and earned the first star of the game.

Coachella Valley improves their record to 22-12-4-0 on the season, currently fourth in the Pacific Division standings.
The Firebirds will look to extend their win streak when they host the Ontario Reign on Friday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
