Quick Moving Storm will have Slight Impact on Valley Tonight.

An area of Low Pressure dropping down from NorCal will bring gusty winds and cloudy skies to the Valley in the evening and overnight, but precip is not a big likelihood as a result of this storm. A Wind Advisory surrounds the Valley until 4 a.m. tomorrow, and a Winter Weather Advisory is posted for local mountains as well. Expect as much as 4" of snow in the highest elevations, and a passing sprinkle is possible here on the Valley floor after 8 p.m.

The broader storm system whips through overnight, and will be a memory by Friday morning, and should not interrupt or disrupt play at the PGA event in La Quinta. Expect sunny but cool conditions Friday after the front has passed.

The coming long weekend, courtesy of the Martin Luther King Holiday on Monday will be mild and mostly sunny, with highs ranging in the lower seventies!
