Winds continue through tonight

A Wind Advisory, along with a Windblown Dust Advisory, remain in effect today as gusty winds continue to elevate sand and dust into the lower levels of the atmosphere.

A strong cold front moving across California and Nevada will push through the region overnight, allowing winds to ease tomorrow.

This will keep temps in the middle 80s through tomorrow, before warming into the weekend.

Wind speeds will hover in the 25 m.p.h. through tonight, when the Wind Advisory ends at 11 p.m.

Into the weekend, expect lighter winds and higher temps. Highs will climb back into the lower and middle 90s before dropping back into the 80s midweek next week.
