Decreasing winds and increasing temperatures

Temperatures are warmer today as a ridge of high pressure begins to build into the region. Winds are not fully out of the area just yet. There is a High Wind Warning in effect through noon Friday. Winds will still be northeasterly between 15-25 mph with gusts reaching to 50 mph for mostly mountain communities and areas west. The valley floor is looking at much lighter winds.

Temperatures will warm up heading into the weekend. A Ridge of high pressure will continue to build through Saturday. Temperatures for some areas expected to make it into the 80s. Our normal for this time of year in Palm Springs sits at 70°,

Over the course of the next 3 days, here are the temperatures to look forward to.
