* WHAT…For the Wind Advisory, north winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts
up to 50 mph. For the Lake Wind Advisory, north winds 15 to 25 mph
with gusts up to 40 mph expected.

* WHERE…Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Lake Havasu and Fort
Mohave, and San Bernardino County-Upper Colorado River Valley.

* WHEN…For the Wind Advisory, until 8 PM PDT /8 PM MST/ this
evening. For the Lake Wind Advisory, from 8 PM PDT /8 PM MST/ this
evening to 5 PM PDT /5 PM MST/ Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create
hazardous conditions both today and Saturday. Gusty winds will
blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and
a few power outages may result.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for
high-profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
